AIM TO DANCE - BOLLYWOOD
This is a new term used to describe the music and dance style used in Indian cinema. The classic 'Talkies' of Indian cinema used to have special cabaret numbers in the film, but in today's films, both actors and actresses are trained in dance. Bollywood is a dance style that moves with the times, taking influences from classical Indian dances (e.g. kathak and bharatnatyam) and Western music and dance moves. The veil (duppata or chunni) is part of the female costume and can be used in the dance.
