Do I need to bring a partner?
Nope. Please dont feel that you cannot come to the classes just because you don't have a partner. With the salsa and latin dance classes there is partnerwork involved, but we swap partners round so no one is left out. Swapping partners helps to improve your dancing skills and allow you to get to know other people in your group.

Do you book?
Nope. Most classes work on a drop in service which means you can come when you feel like it. Parts of the syllabus work on a cycle so moves do get repeated again so that should hopefully not make you feel that you have missed too much.
If there is a need to book then it will clearly say on the class/course details

What do i wear?
Comfortable clothing that you can move around in. With Salsa and Latin dances it is best to wear soft soled shoes that do not have too mauch grip which will help when practising turns. It might also be best for women to wear small heeled shoes until they are used to turns and spins.
The Bellydance and Bollywood classes can be done in bare feet or soft soled shoes will do.

Are there places where we can dance socially?
There are many places where you can practice your dancing. These will be included in the classes and events sections under 'socials'. We have socials for Salsa/Latin dances and Bellydance/Bollywood.

I haven't been to the classes for weeks. Can I still come?
Whether you have not come to the for 2 weeks or 2 years - you are always welcome.

There is not a class that suits my situation. Are there any other options?
Yes! Why not try 1-2-1 tution

Does AIM TO DANCE travel outside of Sheffield?
